Teriyaki glazed salmon
Salmon marinated with teriyaki, green asparagus and rice
Zutaten
1. Fish
- 750 g Salmon fillet
2.Vegetables
- 500 g Green asparagus
- 1 Lemon
3. Others
- 200 g Uncooked Rice
- 3 EL Roasted sesame seeds
- 1 EL Lemon juice
- 4 EL Soy sauce
- 4 EL Teriyaki sauce
- 2 EL Mirin
- 1 EL Honey
- pinch of Butter
- pinch of salt
Anleitungen
1. Rice
- Use the kind of rice you like the most. Nothing fancy here. Just proceed to cook it like the instruction on the box says.
2. Sauce
- Mix the Lemon juice, Teriyaki sauce, Soy sauce, Mirin and honey. Done! Simple as that.
3. Fish
- I like to simply fry my Salmon in the pan on its skin. Heat the pan up and ad a little bit of oil. Put the salmon in and let it fry for about 6 minutes und medium heat and only from one side. Brush the fish with the glaze and let it sit for 3 more minutes on very low heat. Fish done!
4. Asparagus
- Wash the asparagus and cut the end of. Now melt a little bit of butter in the pan and sear the asparagus on low to medium heat for about 3 to 4 minutes. Do not let it get to dark. When the asparagus has a nice color and feels soft, season with salt and lemon juice.
5. Finish
- Top the Salmon with the roasted sesame seeds and slices of lemon. You can also ad a little bit of the sauce to the rice, but be careful, it is very salty.
